Back pains are annoying, especially when waking up from a good night’s sleep. What’s more, if the pain is prolonged, it could lead to serious problems in the future.
Today we’ll go through simple remedies to annoying back pain.
Sleep with a pillow under your knees
Sleeping with a pillow under your knees reduces the pressure on the back, giving better sleep at night. Its easy, just put your knees above the pillow.
Strengthen your core muscles
Proper and frequent workouts to strengthen your core muscles can alleviate back pain. Exercises like sit-ups and planks when done properly can prevent back pain in the future. A simple solution that I highly recommend.
Add calcium and vitamin D to your diet
Strong bones can help prevent osteoporosis. It’s one of the most common causes of back pain later in life, particularly for women. Keep the bones in your spine strong by consuming plenty of calcium and vitamin D. Calcium is in:

- leafy greens
- vitamin supplements

- fatty fish
- egg yolks
- beef liver
Try different shoes
High heels could be another reason for back pain for women. Trying shorter heels would some good for your back. Ideally, heels that are 1-inch are the best for your back.
Straighten your back
Proper posture prevents back pain. Straighten your back and don’t hunch. It’s as simple as that.
Don’t slump over your desk
It’s the same solution as above, except while you’re sitting down. You need to make sure that your posture is straight to ensure the comfort of your back.
To prevent sitting around at an uncomfortable position, you should walk around every now and then. This remedy can prevent your back from feeling stiff
Lighten your load
Common sense here, your back can only handle so much weight. Just lighten the load in your backpack, getting rid of unnecessary stuff will relieve your back. A very easy solution.
Consistent stretching is good to prevent stiffness or pain in the back. Yoga would be the best option, followed by basic back stretches.
